Most of them are quiet, slipping into our subconscious unnoticed where they whisper away, gradually making themselves heard. No fireworks, no carnival. The title of my blog is &#39;I really wish I had a dream&#39; because when I started writing it over a year ago I was in a boring job that I didn&#39;t really enjoy (and more importantly didn&#39;t pay enough for me to live on), I wanted to leave but I didn&#39;t think I had a dream to pursue.<br /><br />I always wished I was one of those kids at school who knew what they wanted to be, like a doctor or a vet or a lawyer but I never did and just ambled through life taking the easiest options. But, at the ripe old age of 31 I quit my job and went back to university to train as a French teacher. I finish my course in about 5 weeks and then when the Autumn term starts I&#39;ll actually be a teacher.<br /><br />If I&#39;m brutally honest I&#39;m still not sure that I have found my dream but having a goal and a plan is definitely an improvement. I think everyone should have dreams and aspirations, but like you say some sort of compromise along the way is inevitable.<br /><br />Good luck with following your dreams, I love your writing and I really hope other (perhaps more helpfully connected) people think the same thing.misswizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16483728947680209802noreply@blogger.com
